St. Lucie County has 21 miles of uncrowded and pristine beaches within a 20 minute drive from the Resort. With the exception of Florida State Park beaches, all beaches in St. Lucie are free admission and free parking and many are equipped with amenities such as bathrooms, pavilions, dune walkovers, and more. Tradition Field is the spring training home of the New York Mets, summer home of the St. Lucie Mets and the hub for all New York Mets minor league operations. When the players aren't in town, the Sports Complex is used for a variety of events ranging from festivals, concerts, baseball tournaments, RV shows and religious services.
The stadium's seating capacity is 7,800.
National Navy UDT-SEAL Museum

In 2007, the National Navy SEAL Museum was designated as the Official National Museum of the U.S. Navy SEALs and their predecessors. The ground in Ft. Pierce upon which the museum stands is recognized as the birthplace of the U.S. Navy Frogmen where, from 1943 to 1946, thousands of brave volunteers were trained as members of the Naval Combat Demolition Units and Underwater Demolition Teams. The World War II Frogmen evolved into the most elite fighting force in the world, the U.S. Navy SEALs.
